We all remember the rhymes we learnt when we were small with all the actions by our kindergarten teacher. Nursery Rhymes are one of the first forms of education that a child receives. It is also the first thing that we store in our memory and then recite when we are asked. Nursery Rhymes are available in books with colorful pictures on them.
The internet has abundant Printable nursery rhyme games which help the kids to remember the games. These nursery games can be played by a group of children in parties, during baby shower or in schools. Charades is a well known nursery game where nursery rhyme names are written in a paper and placed in baskets. The kids are separated in to two teams. Then each kid takes a turn to pick a rhyme from the basket. They then have to act it out to their respective teams.
Another popular rhyme game is pictionary. Here the kids from each team draw from the basket a word or a phrase. They then draw the word on a board allowing their team mates to guess the secret word. They can also use numbers and letters. The elders can have an hour glass that indicates the time allowed for each time. The teams can be given ten points if they complete the task on time.
